Supermoon History

The Supermoon group was established in 1985 in Hong Kong. Strong business growth in 1980s and 1990s attracted investment from French-origin global electrical products distribution group, Sonepar, in 2000.

Backed by strong support of a global shareholder, Supermoon acquired Electric Fever Co. Ltd. and set up Electric Fever (Macau) Co. Ltd. in 2002, and expanded into the wholesale markets in Hong Kong and Macau.

In 2005 Supermoon acquired Wing Kwong Electrical Co. Ltd. and expanded into counter- shop and retail markets in Hong Kong. Today, as the Hong Kong business arm of the Sonepar group, the Supermoon family of companies and branches combine in-depth local know-how and global expertise, to bring superior electrical solutions and reliable service support to the construction and technical professionals.
